Requirements

Row-Template runs on the same server as your panel. It needs nothing beyond standard Linux tools; the one optional extra, sqlite3, lets it activate itself on 3X-UI and Rebecca instead of asking you to set a value in the panel.

Recommended OS: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (x86_64). Other modern Linux distributions may work but have not had the same validation coverage.

Row-Template adds no runtime to your server: no Node.js, no Python, no database, no background service.

Check your panel

The installer detects which panel is installed. A panel counts as installed only when two independent signs of it agree; a panel that is only partly there is refused rather than guessed at. On a server with more than one supported panel, an interactive install asks which one to serve, and a scripted fresh install must name it with RT_PANEL — see Environment variables.

The installer looks for the panel binary at /usr/local/x-ui/x-ui, then /usr/local/bin/x-ui, then any x-ui on your PATH, and for a systemd unit named x-ui.service. It reads the version from the binary:

/usr/local/x-ui/x-ui -v

The first X.Y.Z in the output must be 3.6.0 or newer. If the version cannot be read at all, the installer stops rather than guessing — see cannot determine the 3x-ui version.

PasarGuard 5.x, laid out the way its official installer lays it out. The signs checked: /opt/pasarguard/.env; a compose file running PasarGuard, or a pasarguard systemd unit (a source install); the pasarguard command at /usr/local/bin/pasarguard; and the data folder /var/lib/pasarguard.

Nothing extra is needed for automatic activation: Row-Template writes .env and restarts a running panel once.

Rebecca 1.x, the Go edition, from Rebecca’s binary install (rebecca-binary.sh), which runs as rebecca.service. The signs checked: /opt/rebecca/.env; a compose file or a rebecca systemd unit; the rebecca command at /usr/local/bin/rebecca; and the data folder /var/lib/rebecca.

Rebecca’s Docker image is not supported. Docker Hub’s rebeccapanel/rebecca is still the 0.0.x Python edition, which renders pages from a different context and cannot render this one. The installer identifies the edition before it changes anything and refuses it; use Rebecca 1.x from its binary installer (rebecca-binary.sh) instead.

Automatic activation needs Rebecca’s default SQLite database and the sqlite3 command. With MySQL/MariaDB the page is still placed, and you select it in the dashboard.

Check the tools

sha256sum may be missing on some systems that have shasum instead; the installer accepts either.

Install sqlite3 (optional)

The installer never installs sqlite3 for you. For automatic activation on 3X-UI or Rebecca, install it first:

Without it, everything still works — you set the value in the panel once, by hand. See Activation.

Where the 3X-UI database is found

For automatic activation on 3X-UI, Row-Template also needs to find the panel’s database. It uses the first of these that exists:

If that file is not a real SQLite database, it is refused with a warning and Row-Template does not move on to the next location — a different file could belong to an old or unrelated install. Activation then falls back to the manual step.

Network

The one-command install and row-template update download from https://github.com/iitzSeriZdev/Row-Template/releases/latest/download/, over HTTPS only. A server that cannot reach GitHub can still be installed and updated from a folder you copy to it: see Manual installation.
