As root. It asks first, for example on 3X-UI:

  Remove Row-Template from /etc/3x-ui/sub_templates/row-template and revert the panel to its built-in page? [y/N]:

Answer y. Anything else cancels. From a script, where there is no terminal to ask, confirm with a variable instead:

RT_ASSUME_YES=1 row-template uninstall

The manager’s 7 — Uninstall does the same.

What it does

Returns the panel to the page it had — only what Row-Template set

When sqlite3 can read the panel’s subThemeDir:

if it points at Row-Template, it is cleared (the panel service is stopped, the value written, the service started, the value checked), and the panel returns to its built-in page;
if it points somewhere else, it is left exactly as it is.

Without sqlite3, the value cannot be read, so you are asked to check it yourself:

  warn could not read subThemeDir (sqlite3/DB unavailable). If it points at /etc/3x-ui/sub_templates/row-template, clear it in the panel.

The Row-Template block is removed from /opt/pasarguard/.env, which returns to its exact previous bytes; the page Row-Template placed is removed (a file at that path that Row-Template did not create is left alone); and a running panel is restarted once, so it goes back to the page it had.

Rebecca’s two subscription settings are put back exactly as they were before Row-Template — using the snapshot taken at activation — and the page Row-Template placed is removed. If you have chosen another page in the dashboard since, the settings are left alone. With MySQL/MariaDB, or without sqlite3, the settings cannot be written, so you are told to switch the page back yourself (to subscription/index.html, Rebecca’s own page, or your own).

On PasarGuard and Rebecca the panel is reverted first: if that fails, uninstall stops before removing anything, and both the panel and Row-Template stay exactly as they were.

Removes Row-Template’s files

The install directory is deleted — the page, every design, your branding in config.env, the management library and all backups. Before deleting, it confirms the directory really is a Row-Template installation, and it refuses outright to delete system paths such as /etc, /usr/local or /etc/x-ui.

Removes the command

/usr/local/bin/row-template is removed only if it is Row-Template’s own launcher. A different file with the same name is never deleted.

What is never touched

The panel itself and its data: on 3X-UI its database (apart from clearing subThemeDir as above), inbounds, clients and certificates; on PasarGuard and Rebecca their users, nodes, hosts, settings and databases (apart from the page selection Row-Template set, as above).

If uninstall cannot run

If the row-template command is missing or broken, remove Row-Template by hand. Revert the panel first: while it selects a page that no longer exists, subscribers opening their link in a browser may get an error instead of a page.

Revert the panel

In the panel, open Panel Settings → Subscription, empty Sub Theme Directory, save, and restart the panel.

Delete the block from # >>> row-template to # <<< row-template <<< in /opt/pasarguard/.env, then restart the panel with pasarguard restart.

In the Rebecca dashboard open Settings → Subscription → Templates and set Subscription page template back to subscription/index.html (or your own page).

Delete the files

If you use your own CUSTOM_TEMPLATES_DIRECTORY, delete the row-template folder there instead.

If Rebecca uses its own custom templates directory, delete the row-template folder there instead.
