Environment Variables

Row-Template has no configuration file for the installer itself. Anything you would answer at a prompt, or any choice about where the release comes from, can be given as an environment variable on the command line. A variable applies only to the command it prefixes; nothing is remembered between runs.

Choices and branding

Variable	Read by	Effect
`RT_TEMPLATE`	installer	The design to install, by ID (for example `editorial`). Checked strictly: an ID this release does not ship stops the install. Used when there is no interactive design chooser — an unattended install, or a repair.
`RT_SERVICE_NAME`	installer, `config`	The service name. Up to 120 characters, no control characters. Set it to an empty value to clear the name.
`RT_SUPPORT_URL`	installer, `config`	The support link: `https://`, `http://`, `tg://` or `mailto:`. Empty clears it.
`RT_LOGO_PATH`	installer, `config`	Path to a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo, at most 256 KiB, identified by its content. Symlinks are refused.
`RT_LOGO_REMOVE`	installer, `config`	Any non-empty value removes the logo. Takes precedence over `RT_LOGO_PATH`.
`RT_PANEL_BRANDING`	installer, `config`	PasarGuard and Rebecca (1.4.0): `1` takes the service name and support link from the panel’s own subscription settings for any field `RT_SERVICE_NAME` / `RT_SUPPORT_URL` do not set; `0` never offers them. Unset, an interactive fresh install asks. See Branding.

The design IDs are row, editorial, canvas, prism, terminal, pulse, brutal, arcade, sketch, signature, saffron, pulsenova, prismnova, terminalnova, arcadenova, meter and notebook.

When one of these is set, the matching question is not asked. The installer reads the branding variables only on a first install; a repair keeps the existing configuration. To change branding later, use them with row-template config:

Values you do not set keep their current value.

Prompts and confirmation

`RT_ASSUME_NONINTERACTIVE`	installer, `config`, `row-template`	Any non-empty value turns off every prompt, as if there were no terminal. The installer then skips the welcome and design chooser, takes branding from the variables above, and activates the panel automatically when it can. `row-template` with no arguments prints help instead of opening the menu.
`RT_ASSUME_YES`	installer, `uninstall`	Any non-empty value confirms two actions that otherwise need a terminal: repairing an existing install from a script, and uninstalling without the `[y/N]` question.

Release source

By default the release comes from https://github.com/iitzSeriZdev/Row-Template/releases/latest/download. These override it for the installer, row-template update, and the manager’s update check:

Variable	Effect
`RT_RELEASE_DIR`	A local folder holding `manifest.txt`, `SHA256SUMS` and the tarball. Takes precedence over `RT_RELEASE_URL`. See Manual installation.
`RT_RELEASE_URL`	An HTTPS base URL serving the same files — your own mirror.
`RT_ALLOW_INSECURE_URL`	Allows an `http://` value in `RT_RELEASE_URL`, with a warning. For local testing only; it never affects the default HTTPS source.

Whatever the source, the SHA-256 check is always performed. There is no variable that disables it.

Panel and terminal

Variable	Effect
`RT_PANEL`	The panel to install for: `3xui`, `pasarguard` or `rebecca`. It must name a panel installed on this server. Required for a scripted (non-interactive) fresh install on a server with more than one supported panel — without it the installer stops before changing anything. An existing installation always keeps the panel it was installed for; naming another one is refused, so serving a different panel means `row-template uninstall` first.
`RT_SMOKE_URL`	A subscription link for the live checks of `verify` and of the commands that change the page. On 3X-UI it replaces the test link otherwise found in the panel database. On PasarGuard and Rebecca — where Row-Template never looks up a subscription link itself — it is the only way to have the page a browser receives, and the content a VPN app receives, checked.
`XUI_DB_FOLDER`	3X-UI only: the folder holding the panel’s `x-ui.db`, when it is not in a default location. If a database file is there, it is the only one considered — it is never skipped in favour of another.
`NO_COLOR`	Any non-empty value turns off coloured output. Colour is also off whenever output is not a terminal.

RT_PANEL is needed only when the server runs more than one supported panel; with a single panel it may be left out. The exit status is 0 on success and non-zero on any failure, so it can be checked by provisioning tools. Follow it with row-template verify, which exits non-zero only when a hard check fails.
