The Interactive Manager

Run row-template with no arguments, as root, in a terminal:

Every option runs the same tested code as the matching command. A failed action returns you to the menu instead of closing it.

If this installation came from 1.1.0’s own updater and is missing designs or installer files, the manager first downloads the rest of the same version you have installed — checksum-verified — before it shows the dashboard. It never installs a different version this way. See Updating.

The dashboard

The status is decided from evidence — the files on disk and the panel’s actual settings — never from file presence alone.

Status	Meaning
Installed / Active	Installed, and the panel serves Row-Template: on 3X-UI its `subThemeDir` points at Row-Template; on PasarGuard `.env` selects the page; on Rebecca its subscription settings do.
Installed / Not active	Installed, but the panel serves another page. Use option 5.
Installed / Activation unverified	Installed; the panel’s setting cannot be read here — on 3X-UI without `sqlite3` or the panel database, on Rebecca with MySQL/MariaDB or without `sqlite3`.
Installation damaged	Files are missing or the live page fails validation. Run 3 — Verify, then repair by re-running the installer.

Service shows whether the panel is running — x-ui (running), PasarGuard (stopped) and so on — or not detected.

The options

Option	What it does
1 — Update	Checks the release source for the latest version and compares it with yours. If it is newer, asks `Update <current> -> <latest> now?`. If you are up to date, offers to re-install anyway. If this installation is missing installer components, offers to re-install to complete it. If the source cannot be reached, says so and changes nothing.
2 — Reconfigure branding	Opens the submenu below.
3 — Verify installation	Runs `row-template verify`.
4 — Rollback	Restores the newest valid backup, like `row-template rollback`. To pick a specific backup, use `row-template rollback --to` from the shell.
5 — Activate / Re-apply theme	Shows the panel’s current state and offers to point it at Row-Template, then runs the live checks. On PasarGuard and Rebecca it regenerates the page first and activates it as a transaction; where Rebecca’s settings cannot be written, it places the page and prints the values to enter. Nothing is changed unless you confirm. Activation →
6 — Installation info	Version, developer, GitHub, the panel (on 3X-UI, its version), install directory, template, theme status, service, and whether a custom logo and a support URL are set. Never shows subscription links, IDs, credentials, `.env` contents or your support URL itself.
7 — Uninstall	Runs `row-template uninstall`, which asks for confirmation first.
0 — Exit	Leaves the manager.

Item 7 appears on PasarGuard and Rebecca only (1.4.0): it shows the title and support link in the panel’s own subscription settings and, if you agree, uses them — see Branding. Each item changes one thing and regenerates the page safely — see Branding and Switching templates.

Manager or commands?

They share one implementation, with one difference worth knowing:

Update in the manager compares versions first and asks before doing anything.
row-template update on the command line always downloads and applies the latest stable release, even if it is the version you already have. That makes it a reliable way to repair or complete an installation.

Invalid input is simply asked again (Invalid option. Choose a number 0-7.). When there is no terminal to read from, the manager treats end of input as 0 — Exit, so it can never hang a script.
